The Lord has really been dealing with me for the past few months and I have debated whether to start a blog and the more that I have prayed about it the more I have felt the Lord leading me down this path. At the beginning of this year as I was listening to K-LOVE (Lisa and Eric) were talking about instead of making resolutions to pick "ONE WORD" that would represent the type of person you would want to be at the end of the year. I ponder over this for a few days and as I was going through different blogs I came across one that was talking about her "ONE WORD" for the year and how she had seen on Ali Edwards blog ""A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow...I began a tradition of choosing one word for myself each January – a word that I can focus on, mediate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life...One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities..."
{Excerpt taken from Ali Edwards 2007" and as I thought about this I knew that the Lord had already layed a word on my heart that he wanted me to apply to my life for the Year and that word is "NEW". Yes I know that sounds unusual but this is something I need to do, I need to look at the fact that I am a "NEW" person in Christ...... I will continue this blog tomorrow because I don't want to bore you on my first blog.
